The Magic Workshop is a six hour course divided into 2 three hour long, intensive study sessions.  For students taking the course at the junior college it is offered once each quarter on a Saturday starting at 10 AM and ending at 4 PM with a break for lunch around one o’clock (contact SRJC for details).

Colt has selected a group of powerful yet easy to master illusions to create a diverse and flexible repertoire that provides the essential base .  Then he combines the critical aspects of audience control, attention direction, angle management, segue, patter and approach to round out the skill set.  Next, he works to help each student develop and refine a selection of polished routines for a variety of situations.  Finally, for  those looking to go the professional route, he discusses the business aspects of magic, everything from getting practice in front of people to booking shows and regular gigs.
